Honour Farm is a Korean startup that specializes in the development and manufacturing of affordable and efficient nanobubble solutions. We began developing nanobubble technology in 2016 and have been striving to improve its technology since then.

Nanobubbles have many potential advantages in various industries. However, it has not been widely adopted due to misconceptions, technical limitations, and high costs and energy consumption. To overcome these challenges, we are constantly working to develop technologies that can be applied to various industries, including water treatment, agriculture, and fisheries.

WHAT ARE NANOBUBBLES?

Nanobubbles are ‘very small bubbles with a volume equivalent diameter of less than 1 μm’ , also called ‘ultra-fine bubbles’.

Nanobubbles have unique physical and chemical properties and are superior to other aeration methods. Therefore nanobubble technology is used in a variety of applications, including water treatment, agriculture, aquaculture, food processing, and other industrial areas.

BENEFITS OF NANOBUBBLES

Due to the various inherent physical properties of nanobubbles, the ability to transfer gas to liquid is very high, and thus has the following advantages.

LARGE SURFACE AREA

Nanobubbles have a high surface area to volume ratio, allowing for a greater amount of gas to be in contact with water. This, combined with their ability to remain suspended in water due to their small size and high buoyancy, results in increased gas transfer efficiency between the gas and water phases.

HIGH DISSOLVED OXYGEN

Nanobubbles increase gas transfer efficiency and surface area of the gas-water interface, allowing for a higher rate of oxygen diffusion from air to water, resulting in increased dissolved oxygen levels in water. And they can benefit aquatic organisms and improve water quality.

 

STRONG OXIDIZING ABILITY

Ozone nanobubbles have a high concentration of ozone, a powerful oxidizing agent, due to their small size and high surface area. This leads to a strong oxidizing ability, making them effective for water treatment and purification, as well as other industrial and environmental applications.

POTENT BACTERICIDAL ABILITY

Ozone nanobubbles have a high concentration of ozone, which is a potent bactericidal agent. The small size and high surface area of the bubbles allow for a greater amount of ozone to be in contact with bacteria, resulting in a potent bactericidal ability.
